Inagaki Stoneworks, founded in 1927, has spent nearly a century perfecting traditional Japanese stonecraft. The founder, Seiichi Inagaki, left behind many monumental works and restoration projects, including the stone wall repairs at Matsumae Castle in Hokkaido. The second-generation founder, Hideo Inagaki, received the Traditional Craft Industry Grand Prize, further enhancing the workshop’s reputation.
