Description
The lantern is made of four parts: ball, base, fire box, and receiver. Each part is manually shaped by hammering with chisels and stonemason tools. Misaki lanterns can also be found in the Japanese garden of Katsura Imperial Villa in Kyoto, and they are often placed at the entrance of houses or in small gardens. They are equally suitable for Western-style gardens due to their timeless elegance.
This is a carefully crafted piece of art, made with the dedication and skill of Japanese artisans.
Usage
Perfect as an accent in a Japanese garden, or placed beside bonsai to create a refined and serene atmosphere.
