About the Craftsmanship
Inagaki Stoneworks, founded in 1927, has spent nearly a century perfecting traditional Japanese stonecraft. The founder, Seiichi Inagaki, created numerous monumental statues and restoration projects, including the stone wall repair at Matsumae Castle in Hokkaido. The second-generation founder, Hideo Inagaki, received the Traditional Craft Industry Grand Prize, preserving the artistry and quality for future generations.
