Asuke Stone is a fine-grained granodiorite formed approximately 70 million years ago in Aichi Prefecture. Quarried in Toyota City, it is known for its refined bluish-gray color, extremely low water absorption, and excellent compressive strength.

This unique lampshade is carved from solid Asuke granite. Each piece is meticulously shaped, rounded, and hollowed out by hand using traditional Japanese stoneworking techniques.
Crafted by a seasoned Japanese stonemason, the process takes a full three days to complete, ensuring precision and authenticity in every detail. Designed for LED lighting (LEDs not included), the warm glow from within highlights the natural texture and subtle grain of the granite, creating a serene and timeless ambiance.
