This elegant bracelet is made from natural Aoi-ishi (Blue Stone), a rare diorite quarried in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Scientifically known as diorite, this stone formed approximately 60 million years ago, when magma deep within the Earth cooled slowly over millions of years. Through the vast span of geologic time and tectonic uplift, this beautiful natural stone eventually emerged at the surface and has since become a prized material known for its beauty and strength.
