Shipping a Small Gorinto to the United States
This Micro Gorinto reproduces the traditional form of a Japanese Gorinto in a compact stone piece. It has a three-dimensional outline with a rounded upper section, a roof-shaped central section, and a lower base.
Although the item is small, its stone construction and stepped shape required individual protection. We wrapped the entire piece with a protective sheet and bubble wrap, then added corrugated cardboard around the outside to reinforce the perimeter.

Packing for the Shape of the Micro Gorinto
The Micro Gorinto has several forms arranged vertically. Unlike a flat stone slab, it includes raised and stepped areas around the upper and roof-shaped sections. For this reason, we combined a protective sheet, bubble wrap, and corrugated cardboard instead of relying on a single packing material.
We first covered the stone surface with a protective sheet, wrapped bubble wrap around the outside, and then added corrugated cardboard to create multiple protective layers that followed the outline of the item.
After placing the protected Micro Gorinto inside the cardboard box, we sealed the outer box with packing tape and finished the package with stretch wrap and DHL outer packaging.
