Shipping a Hanazawa Stone Bird Sculpture to Germany by DHL
This small stone sculpture captures the rounded shape of a bird, including the head, beak, eyes, wings, and body.
To protect the stone surface and projecting areas such as the beak, we first wrapped the entire sculpture with newspaper for cushioning and secured it with packing tape.
Bubble wrap was then added around the outside before the sculpture was placed inside the cardboard box, helping reduce contact and movement during transportation.

Packing for the Three-Dimensional Shape of the Bird Sculpture
Unlike a flat stone product, this bird sculpture has three-dimensional features around the head, beak, wings, and body. For this reason, the entire sculpture was wrapped with newspaper to protect the stone surface and projecting areas.
Bubble wrap was added around the newspaper-wrapped sculpture before it was placed inside the cardboard box. This helped reduce direct contact between the stone sculpture and the outer packaging.
The bottom of the cardboard box was reinforced with hot glue to help prevent it from opening under the weight of the stone product.
