Shipping an Owl Granite Stone Sculpture to the United States by DHL
This small owl sculpture has a rounded head and body, forward-facing eyes, and small carved feet.
To protect the stone surface and the carved areas around the face, we first wrapped the entire sculpture with packing paper. Bubble wrap was then added around the outside before the sculpture was placed inside the cardboard box.
Additional bubble wrap was placed in the open spaces inside the box to help keep the granite sculpture from shifting during transportation.

Unlike a flat stone product, this owl granite sculpture has a three-dimensional form with a rounded head, carved facial features, a body, and small feet. For this reason, we wrapped the entire sculpture with packing paper to protect the stone surface and carved areas.
Bubble wrap was added around the paper-wrapped sculpture before it was placed inside the cardboard box. Additional bubble wrap was used inside the box to fill open spaces and reduce movement during transportation.
The bottom of the cardboard box was reinforced with hot glue to help prevent it from opening under the weight of the stone product.
