Japanstones.shop offers bulk B2B pricing for larger orders based on the product, quantity, and shipping requirements. For this order, a U.S. store designer purchased 40 natural stone vases, which we shipped from Japan to the United States by UPS.

Each vase is made from natural stone and has its own shape, color, pattern, and texture. A shatter-resistant plastic test tube is inserted into the opening at the top to hold water and flowers. Because no two pieces are exactly alike, these vases can add natural character and individuality to retail displays and interior spaces.

For the complete order, we included 40 shatter-resistant plastic test tubes in two different types to match the specifications of the stone vases.

To avoid delaying the entire order, we shipped the first 30 vases by UPS. Approximately one week later, we shipped the remaining 10 vases after production was completed.

For the first shipment, we packed the 30 available stone vases into five cardboard boxes. The five packages had a combined weight of 82.67 lb / 37.5 kg.

Natural stone vases vary in shape, base size, surface texture, and balance. We protected each vase individually and placed the items inside the shipping boxes so that the stone surfaces would not come into direct contact with one another.

Second Shipment | 10 Newly Produced Stone Vases

After the first shipment was sent, production continued for the remaining 10 vases. Once completed, the 10 vases were packed into two cardboard boxes with a combined weight of 21.83 lb / 9.9 kg. The second shipment was sent by UPS approximately one week after the first shipment.

The newly produced vases were packed in the same manner as the first group, with each piece individually protected before being placed inside the outer shipping boxes.

Packing for the Individual Shapes of Natural Stone

Every natural stone vase has a different outline, base, surface texture, and center of gravity. For this reason, the vases could not simply be arranged in identical positions. We checked the shape of each piece and selected a stable position inside the box.

Instead of placing all 40 vases into one oversized package, we divided the order into seven packages across two shipments. Each item was wrapped individually to prevent direct contact between the stone pieces.
